Nissan GTR Stage Upgrades

Here at Kaizer Motor we have been establishing a range of performance upgrades for the latest Nissan GTR. We are proud to offer these upgrades because we believe every driver deserves the best driving experience. For several years now we have been offering these upgrades and will continue to develop and refine our upgrade packages. Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you might have.

There are various stages when upgrading the GTR. Each stage can be tailored to your needs and requirements. See below to find out more about each different stage involved. If you have any questions regarding an upgrade, please get in touch

Stage 1 - 590bhp

The stage 1 upgrade gives you the full benefit of the Y-Pipe. This includes a recalibration of the GTR's engine management system, transforming the GTR performance by releasing an extra 60-70bhp. The upgrade is a way of improving the GTR performance without pushing the limits of the Nissan.

The Stage 1 power upgrade includes:

  • Milltek Y-Pipe
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Adjustable boost using the steering wheel's Cruise Control button
  • Revised ignition control, variable valve timing and fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • RACEROM switchable maps for Enhanced Economy mode and Full Race mode
  • Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade

This upgrade costs £1133 fitted, including VAT.

Stage 2 - 610bhp

The stage 2 upgrade features the Y-Pipe and the rest of the Milltek’s performance exhaust system. This replaces the restrictive standard rear silencer. In the stage 2 upgrade we replace the paper intake filters with free flowing K&N units. As well as being easily washable, these filters help to improve the engine’s breathing and will maintain a good performance over time.

This upgrade is our most popular upgrade after the initial Y-Pipe as it lifts performance to 590bhp. This upgrade includes our ECU recalibration.
The stage 2 power upgrade includes:

  • Replacement performance air filters
  • Milltek Y-Pipe Milltek rear exhaust system
  • Exhaust back pressure reduced by over 37%
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Revised ignition control, variable valve timing and fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • RACEROM switchable maps for Enhanced Economy mode and Full Race mode
  • Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade

The upgrade costs £2463 fitted, including VAT.

Stage 3 - 615bhp

The stage 3 upgrade includes our larger performance intake kit. This kit features the large capacity cone filters. These filters receive cold air from behind the front bumper and are used by the latest British Touring Cars. The engine is also able to breathe freely as the whole filter provides great air flow, thanks to Smooth Mandrel bent pipe work.

The stage 3 power upgrade includes:

  • Large Bore performance intake kit with larger MAF housing
  • Milltek Y-Pipe
  • Milltek rear exhaust system
  • Exhaust back pressure reduced by over 37%
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Revised ignition control, variable valve timing and Fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • RACEROM Switchable maps for Enhanced Economy mode and Full Race mode
  • Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade

This upgrade costs £2823 fitted, including VAT.

Stage 4 - 640BHP

The stage 4 upgrade allows the engine to receive the correct amount of fuel. The upgrade includes our 1100cc injectors, replacing the standard fuel injectors that have a lower performance rate. Compared to the standard OEM 570cc injectors, the Bosch Motorsport can be considered better with its superb spray pattern (fuel consumption and drive-ability).

The stage 4 power upgrade includes:

  • Milltek Y-Pipe
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Adjustable boost using the steering wheels Cruise Control button
  • Revised ignition control, variable valve timing and fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range

This upgrade costs £3723 fitted, including VAT.

Stage 4.25 - 660bhp

The Stage 4 package costs £3,723 fitted inc. VAT 

We can also supply Stage 4 with stainless downpipes made for us in the UK. This popular conversion is referred to as Stage 4.25 and allows us to gain 660BHp out of the standard turbos.

To add the downpipes to Stage 4 we charge £1,237 inc vat 

The Stage 4.25 package (Stage 4 with Stainless Downpipes) costs £4,660 fitted inc VAT

Stage 4.5 - 700bhp

The stage 4.5 upgrade takes the power to 700bhp, designed for the customer looking for the next step up, without the extra costs. The upgrade includes a carefully selected turbo combination and high flow fuel pumps, as well as all stage 4 upgrades.

Why go for a Billet Compressor Wheel?
  • Approximately 30-40% lighter than the cast original compressor wheel
  • Weight reduction gives a significant improvement to transient throttle response
  • Faster turbo spool up for less turbo lag
  • Advanced CNC accuracy for improved aerodynamics
  • Larger blade length due to reduced CNC hub size
  • Extended Tip design for increased airflow
  • Machined from solid billet for additional strength
  • Although this upgrade has an extra 80bhp compared to the stage 4 upgrade, the stage 4.5 upgrade still has great driveability and response. This upgrade also delivers more than enough capacity while remaining silent and cool.

The stage 4.5 power upgrade includes:

  • Genuine Garrett upgraded wastegate actuators
  • Twin high flow fuel pumps
  • 950 cc Asnu Injectors
  • Large Bore performance intake kit with larger MAF housing
  • Milltek Cast Stainless Steel Downpipes
  • 90mm Milltek Stainless Steel Y-Pipe
  • 90mm Milltek rear Stainless Steel exhaust system
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Revised ignition control, variable valve timing and fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • RACEROM switchable maps for Enhanced Economy mode and Full Race mode
  • Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade
  • Freshly recharged Air Conditioning system
  • High performance 5w-50 engine oil

The Stage 4.5 package costs £10,302 fitted inc. VAT
Upgrading from Stage 4 with downpipes already installed costs £6,254 fitted inc. VAT
Upgrading from Stage 4 without downpipes already installed to costs £7,491 fitted inc. VAT

Whilst the engine is removed to fit the new turbos we would recommend also fitting an KM front limited slip differential (£1426.12 inc vat fitted), saving a huge 8 hours labour over fitment with the engine in situ.

Stage 5 - 750BHP

The stage 5 upgrade includes Garrett ball bearing cores, improving both response and power and producing unbelievable results. We have been using the cores for many years and there are multiple cores to choose from. We can discuss each core with you to make sure you have the ideal match.

We also recommend having an improved intercooler design from Forge Motorsport when having the larger turbos. Without these, the power of the car could damage the standard intercooler. After trailing design, we have found that the most efficient design for the GTR is a core of tube and fin design. Along with an increase in dimensions, we have been able to improve the cooling ability and reduce the pressure loss across when compared to stock intercoolers.

The stage 5 power upgrade includes:

  • Forge front mounted intercooler with hard piping kit
  • Large Turbo intake pipes
  • 1100cc Asnu Injectors
  • Twin fuel pumps
  • Large Bore performance intake kit with larger MAF housing
  • 90mm Milltek full exhaust system with 321 stainless steel downpipes
  • Improved boost control with custom Ecutek code
  • Revised ignition control, Variable Valve timing and Fuel maps
  • Reduced fuel consumption (especially on partial throttle conditions)
  • Increase in both power and torque across the whole rev range
  • RACEROM Switchable maps for enhanced Economy mode and full Race mode
  • Custom Launch Control settings when used with Gearbox Software upgrade

The Stage 5 package costs £14,572 fitted inc. VAT

We also offer the Stage 5 package with our proven Race Intercooler as a Stage 5.5, making 775BHp.

The Stage 5.5 package costs £16,565 fitted inc. VAT
